This is an amazing take on the iconic Le Smoking jacket first made famous in the 1966 Haute Couture collection. This theme of a tuxedo made for a woman has been played on by the house every decade or so since right up until the current runways. This jacket is particularly fabulous in that it is made of leather mixed with a matte satin collar giving it a slightly edgy feel to the classic lines. The cut is that of the classic Le Smoking jacket with sloped low slung pockets on each hip. Huge braided buttons sit on each cuff and at the base of the collar. A strong shoulder and lean cut give it perfect lines. It is a classic piece that will forever be in style. Excellent condition and it has just been specialty cleaned.

Fully lined in a black silky satin. Closes with the front braided button. The buttons holes on the cuffs not only work but are properly finished.
